A retail agent writing WC in the West approached us with a book of specialty business placed with multiple carriers.  The concern was instability of their largest market, both their rating and commitment to the retail distribution model.  The challenge was to develop a submission based on a book, versus a program.  We formatted the data set and the agent manually pulled account level exposure data for the prior 5 years, including individual audit worksheets.  Our analysts then combined this raw data into centralized data sets.  We were then able to go to market with a comprehensive submission which included the data analytics needed to engage carriers.
